CIDRly Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
CIDRly is a subnet and CIDR calculator for iOS. This policy explains what data the app handles and what the third-party services it uses collect.
What CIDRly collects#
Nothing. Every calculation runs entirely on your device. The addresses and prefixes you type are never transmitted anywhere, never stored off-device, and never logged. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics SDK.
The only thing CIDRly saves is your light/dark appearance preference, which is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
Advertising#
The free version of CIDRly displays a single banner ad supplied by Google AdMob.
CIDRly requests non-personalized ads only. That means ads are selected based on general context rather than a profile of you, and CIDRly does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not track you across other apps or websites.
Google still receives some information in order to serve and measure an ad — typically your device’s IP address (which implies an approximate, city-level location), device and OS characteristics, and non-personalized ad interaction data used for delivery, frequency capping, and fraud prevention. This is handled by Google, not by CIDRly, and is governed by Google’s own policies:
CIDRly also includes Apple’s SKAdNetwork identifiers, which let advertisers measure campaign performance in aggregate without identifying individual users.
Removing ads removes the ad SDK entirely. If you buy the one-time “Remove Ads” purchase, CIDRly never initializes the Google Mobile Ads SDK at all, and no ad-related data is collected.
Purchases#
“Remove Ads” is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. Apple processes the payment; CIDRly never sees or stores your payment details, Apple ID, or any billing information. The app only asks Apple whether the purchase is active on your account, which is what lets it restore automatically when you reinstall or set up a new device.
Children#
CIDRly is a networking utility intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes#
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
